Why is multi level marketing so offensive to people?

Rest of Your Life Off asked:

I work for a legit company that has an aspect of MLM, I recruit others to help them and my self build a business. Why are people so offended when offered an opportunity to win in business and working to retire nearly broke as millions of americans are is co acceptable.

Why are people so put off by an atmosphere of excitment of people that have a shot at financial freedom and so willing to go to work monday morning and when asked how they are doing they reply “Just hangin in there” or ” Yup another monday”. Are we such a nation of zombie employees that we think anything out side of 4 walls and a time clock is a scam?

Because it doesn’t work, and invariably ends up ruining the last people entering into the scam.

it total crap. it only benefits the ones who started it and are at the top. most studies show that if you are not at the top you will actually PAY MORE than you take in.

ITS ALSO MIND CONTROL AND A TYPE OF CULT. DONT BUY THE BS

MLM is a great business form, badly so many people abuse this industry so much that people started to prejurge the industry. MLM does work. However one have to work hard to make it work. so many people work the business wrong way and then try to look for a excause. Let people understand how great the business could be if they try to understand it. There are good companies with respectable products and business. one need only one.

some people also called it mind-control. First of all, it is not. One will build the business the best way for him. One must educate himself about MLM. MLM may not be a cashcow, however it can be if one try to make it, and do it with honestly and high ethics.
