I think I would feel worse signing up my children from multi-level marketing. My parents should know better. My children should be able to trust me.

I think I would feel worse about signing up my old age parents. You children have lots of time to get it figured out. Your old aged parents….. well, they don’t have too much time.

God speed.

Agreed. I’ve considered at least 15 or more MLM opportunities over the past few years, and they all appeal to the same thing… money, money, money and giving you the freedom to live your life by your own rules. While most of these programs ARE great and people DO make money in them, I believe you really must have a passion for whatever is being “sold” or marketed. Even that said, there are some things that won’t work no matter how passionate you are about it. There are some things that people frankly don’t give a rat’s **** about. On the issue of family - never bring them into it unless you’ve personally COMMITTED for some time and can prove “the system” works. I still keep my eyes and ears open ’til this day, and am always willing to hear the next presentation for what might actually be the “perfect” MLM I’d be willing to do.

Heh, I was in the Army and my squad leader was bringing his soldiers to Quickstar meeting. Quickstar was a second generation Amway. Really lame backstabber. He ended up in the psych ward at the hospital. Deserved it.

Hey Sweetie, you must be missing me again….I missed you too.

I have to tell you I feel awesome about welcoming both my children and my father into the business. My children are learning how to be self employed, as well as learning about investing. I’m teaching them all about net worth. My father already knows about all that, and I would be remiss had I not offered him this valuable opportunity. He is feeling secure now in knowing that he has a steady stream of income, which is supplementing his pension. He’s free now to do what he wants. We would have really missed out on some great income had this opportunity not come along.
